This past weekend I traveled to Canada to visit family and visit Quebec City. The first day we got there, and we went skating on the frozen lake and played hockey because I come from a hockey family, most of my cousins and family play hockey. The second day, we went skiing all day with my cousins and my aunt. It was snowing the whole day so it was great conditions with fresh snow. It was very fun. We also had a very big family party to celebrate my birthday and reconnect with everyone since we do not see them often.
The last day we were there, we went to Quebec City and walked around. I loved all the agriculture and passion everyone has for Quebec. I went to Paris last year and I can say it is pretty similar in regards to the cobblestone streets, little shops, great restaurants, and plenty to see. My favorite part was walking around the city at night seeing all the lights and little shops. They also had very good food. For example, I had a huge nutella and strawberry waffle for breakfast and I would love to return someday.
