Freshman year has finally come to a close, and students in every grade are excited for summer. In my opinion, as a freshman myself, this year was definitely a wake-up call. School that once felt easy now feels much more serious; everything matters, and slacking off can be detrimental. However, despite that, it is still possible to recover and climb back out of that hole.
From a student’s perspective, freshman Aubrey Maurer says, “Freshman year was hard in the sense that we were still getting the ropes. It was a little easier towards the end. But the start was the hardest part.” For some students, freshman year was relatively easy, and while it was not necessarily extremely difficult or overwhelming, it still had its challenging moments.
Finally, with summer break right around the corner, students should have fun and stay safe!
