Many students at our school stay involved in different activities, and Kaida Chwatek is one of them. Kaida is being featured in this Student Spotlight for her positive attitude and the things she participates in around the school.
Kaida is currently in 10 grade and has been in the Hamburg School District for a long time. “I’m in 10th grade and I’ve been a Hamburg student for 10 years,” she said. Over the years, she has gotten to know a lot of people and feels connected to the school.
Kaida is involved in Math Honor Society and plays both field hockey and softball. She also works hard in her classes. One of her accomplishments is “taking all honors classes,” which shows how dedicated she is to school. In addition to her academic achievements, Kaida demonstrates strong teamwork and commitment through her participation in sports, balancing practices, games, and schoolwork. Her involvement in both athletics and academics highlights her determination, time management skills, and well-rounded character.
When asked about her favorite part of the day, Kaida said, “Lunch and seeing my friends.” Like many students, she enjoys getting a break during the day to talk with friends.
If things get stressful, Kaida has a simple way to stay calm. “I take deep breaths,” she said. She also shared a fun fact about herself: “I can solve a Rubik’s Cube.”
One piece of advice Kaida likes to remember is, “Take everything one step at a time.” This helps her stay focused and not get overwhelmed.
Students like Kaida help make our school a great place by staying involved and working hard.
