Softball season has come and gone in a flash, though the season is not fully over, there are so many highlights throughout the season worth mentioning.
Our varsity team overall won 17 and lost one game. They are number one in the Berks County Three Conference, sixth in Division AAAA, and 39 in the PA ranking as of April 20.
The team is excited to work toward Counties and hope to place and spot and keep moving up the ranks.
Ava Epting just hit her 100 strikeout at the game against Wyomissing on April 20. The Hawks won that game 13-2. Another person to hit their 100 strikeout this 2026 season is Molly Krick on April 8.
The JV team just had a tournament in Exeter on April 18 winning two out of the three games. Brianna Mengel and Maddison Wessner pitched for the games splitting the tournament between the two girls.
Cheyenne Kline said that she believes the team is doing outstanding, and she thinks it is awesome watching her teammates improve as the season goes on.
The seniors this year for the softball team are Molly Krick and Mackenzie Hoover. They will be missed by the whole team but wish them luck for the future.
