With the school year soon ending, many seniors of the graduating class of 2026 are taking the time to look back on all of the memories that they have made over the past four years.
Bethany Stufflet shared that her favorite memory was the Friday night football games. She loved hanging out with friends and being able to support her school. Along with that, she really enjoyed powder puff practices and how so many random students came together to make practices so much fun. If she had one redo for any event, it would be the senior sunrise because of how beautiful it was. Lastly, if she were to add an event, it would be a senior sleepover at the school to play games, eat food, and hang out one last time.
Maddie Handwerk, also felt that football games were great, but out of them all the 2025-2026 homecoming game was her favorite since she won homecoming queen. She stated, “It was a huge honor for me.” If she had the chance to experience something again, it would be the Christmas dances. Lastly, if Maddie could create a new event, it would be a Valentine’s Day dance.
My favorite events are May Day and football games. May Day is great because the history tournament starts the day off with fun mental trivia and a mini concert by students. Along with that, all of the clubs get a chance to do something fun and creative. The football games, on the other hand, were just the best end to a school week with a theme, face painting, stadium lights, concession stand food, and the student section. My favorite memories, though, came from being involved in tons of different clubs and activities. Being in clubs opened tons of doors for me from meeting new people, growing important skills for my future, learning new things, and, to me, making a mark in my school. If I could do anything again, it would be the yearbook. I loved creating pages every year for the clubs section, and this year I loved creating the entire yearbook. To me, my brain has infinite ideas for the yearbook, so for this to basically be the end, I am very saddened by it. Lastly, if I could bring back an event it would be the school wide music video that Mrs. Eshbach created.
Overall, every high schooler has multiple memories that they love and will miss dearly, but hopefully, high school had a positive impact on everyone in some way. Congratulations, class of 2026!
