The end of the school year is nearing, and seniors are getting ready to graduate, which means they must have a solid plan for after high school.
Delaney Muller plans to go to Northampton Community College to study early childhood education. She plans to stay there for a year, hoping to gain enough experience to switch schools and attend Shippensburg University for further education. She did not tour many schools except for Shippensburg, and she really liked it. One thing the school helped her with was getting experience through her professional field experience. Kameron Dreibelbis plans to go to Shippensburg University to study education and history in hopes of becoming a teacher. Many of the history teachers at Hamburg Area High School helped him figure out what he wanted to do. Andrew Koval Plans to attend Thomas Jefferson University to study health sciences. He toured Arcadia and Thomas Jefferson University until he made his final decision. He believes that the meetings with the counselor helped a lot with helping him decide where to go. Riley plans to go to Arcadia University to study graphic design. It was hard for her to figure out which college she wanted to go to, but she really liked Arcadia’s program and how she gets to go to school in a castle. She agrees with Andrew Koval that the counselor meetings helped solidify what she wanted to do after high school. I plan to go to Shippensburg University to study English with a focus on creative and professional writing, hoping to become an author. I toured many schools and went to the college fair, but Shippensburg stood out to me more than the other schools for how inexpensive it is compared to the other colleges I toured and how easy it was to navigate the buildings. It also has a beautiful campus, very close to a cute town. What sold it the most was how nice the college dorms were.
