As June approaches, Hollywood will celebrate the movie Labyrinth’s 40th anniversary. In June of 1986, David Bowie made his acting debut in the movie directed by Henson studios (Jim Henson) which is well known for the Muppets. The movie follows the Henson studio architecture by featuring creative and unique puppets.
Bowie plays the Goblin King, the villain of the movie. The story is known for its creativity and music.
The story follows a girl by the name of Sarah, who is played by Jennifer Connelly who wishes her baby brother away.
Bowie’s character takes him, and it is up to Sarah to try and get him back before the time runs out for them to return home. One of the other things that makes the movie memorable is Bowie’s musical performance in it. As the 40th anniversary approaches, that is what many people remember and it is one of Bowie’s most notable things he had done in his career.
