Last year, I was able to read a new book that gave me some new insight into different books. This book is called Don’t Let The Forest In by CG Drews. This book is a standalone but has books that coexist in the same world.
This book follows two young boys who go to a private school in the middle of a forest. One boy is a writer and the other draws the creations of the writer. One day, they discover that their creations are being brought to life and are becoming a threat to the school. In order to keep people safe, they have to keep the monsters a secret. There are many parts of the story that keep the reader on their toes and engage them in the story.
The book does a good job at going into detail of the mental minds of the boys as they experience their creations coming to life. They experience many different horrors, and it really puts their mind to the test. For those who also love having illustrations, the book also offers illustrations of the creatures these boys have to fight. The illustrations are really beautiful and offer a detailed look at how the creatures in this story look.
I really recommend this book if an individual loves horror mixed with fantasy. This story also has a bit of romance as well. If a person is interested in reading this story and learning more about the author, the book is titled Don’t Let the Forest In by CG Drews.
