Recently I have returned from my trip to Florida. I was in Ocala for three weeks for a horse show that we attend every year. We go down before Christmas and spend our Christmas until about after New Year’s. Most of the time during Christmas there are not that many people there so we go and hang out by the pool with our family and other trainers at the horse show.
During those three weeks we show against people all over the world, and we get to showcase everything we have worked on throughout the year to become our best selves. It is both the close of the season and the start of a new season.
Most of the time after we finish our show day, we hang out with our friends at night and play volleyball and other various games. Since it was close to Christmas time the show facility had a bunch of pretty Christmas lights and we would spend our nights walking around and getting ice cream. We stayed in a nice hotel on the show grounds that has a very nice pool and view of the whole facility.There were a lot of fun activities that we would watch because there was another show going on at the same time and it was really fun to be in Florida while everybody else was in Pennsylvania. I look forward to this show every year with all the warm weather and quality time with my friends and family.
