Concluding our spooky October of 2025, we have been given quite a treat with costumes. The population of participants in dressing for the holiday has increased greatly. Voting for the 2nd annual GSA Halloween Costume Contest took place on November 4. A Google form was sent out by Mrs. Eshbach. Staff vote for student winners and students vote for staff winners, and the winners are announced on November 5. The first place winner receives $20, the second place winner receives a giant gummy worm, and last place receives a bag of gummy worms.
As we look around the hall full of costumes we see some really out of the ordinary, and some even basic but still scary. It is so easy to throw a quick costume on that Kaylea Detweiler, Molly Fox, and Reiley Jozefick got to throw together a gory costume in five minutes. But for the more prepared characters, there may be some body paint involved. Sheila Kern took up this advantage and painted her whole body blue to transform into The Great Bobizske from the famous movie Coraline. It does not stop at the students, because the whole front office had an amazing group costume. They dressed up as the Inside Out cast and absolutely killed it! They most definitely have another vote. For future references, make sure to stay updated with GSA to take part in voting next year.
