Pink Friday 2, the 5th studio album by rapper Nicki Minaj, was released on December 8, 2023. This is the sequel to her debut album Pink Friday which was released on November 10, 2010. Pink Friday 2 consists of 10 tracks and the original Pink Friday with 20 tracks. Some songs on Pink Friday 2 are Just the Memories, My Life, Fallin 4 U.  The album topped Billboard charts making Minaj the third leader and the most number 1’s among other female rappers. Billboard stated that “Pink Friday 2′s 228,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending on a million on-demand official streams of the 22 songs on the streaming edition of the album.

     Pink Friday 2 coming out was very successful for Minaj and fans are thrilled. As a fan I was very happy that Nicki was coming out with a new album, specifically a continuation of Pink Friday which is one of my favorite albums coming from her and others that follow are Barbie World. This album has been trending all over social media platforms and I have enjoyed seeing the Tiktoks and creative ideas people have done with the songs. My personal favorites are Everybody, FTCU, Pink Friday girls. They all have a uplifting beat to them and FTCU reminds me of old Nicki songs from previous albums such as songs like Super Bass. As well as Pink Friday girls consisting of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cindi Lauper with a twist.
