While You Were Sleeping is a heartwarming romantic comedy directed by Jon Turteltaub. It was first released in 1995 and features an entertaining cast including Sandra Bullock, Peter Gallagher, Bill Pullman, Peter Boyle, and more.

The film centers around Lucy, played by Sandra Bullock, a lonely transit worker who saves Peter Callaghan, played by Peter Gallagher, from an oncoming train. As she attempts to navigate through the complexities of a false identity, Lucy becomes very close with Peter’s brother, Jack, played by Bill Pullman.

The relationship between Jack and Lucy is filled with an awkward charm and genuine affection. Jack was initially skeptical of Lucy and her newly formed relationship with the Callaghan family. However, the skepticism slowly fades away and is replaced by genuine connection as they begin to spend more time together. The film follows as a heartwarming romance between Lucy and Jack develops through a series of both comedic and touching moments.

Sandra Bullock’s portrayal of Lucy is both relatable and endearing. Her character connects with the audience, adding to the homey feel of the movie. Her chemistry with Bill Pullman creates a genuine and sweet layer that is effective in capturing the hearts of the viewers.
