With warmer weather approaching and the winter air fading away, students are starting to get more active outside and can share their opinions on the new season, which starts on March 21. Recently, the weather has been tricky with a few warm days, and then back to snow flurries and rain, but the future weather is looking warmer.
Freshman Lily Borkey shared that her favorite season is Summer and that Spring should start sooner so that Winter can finally end. Multiple students noted that they enjoy Spring’s warmer weather, but the rain is the worst part. Freshman Noah Clancy stated that the worst part of Spring, “We don’t get any more snow days, and no two-hour delays as often.” Most students state that they enjoy Summer more if it is not obnoxiously hot and that Spring is a good in between.
Other bad parts about Spring are that it is when allergy season starts to swell up like with freshman Hanna Sterner. While most enjoy the warmer seasons, freshman Teagan Gatley’s favorite is Fall. Students wish that Spring could come sooner and warm weather could replace all the cold and drearyness.
Overall, students have mixed feelings about Spring approaching but are excited for the warmer weather at Hamburg Area High School.
