After months of continuous cold, freezing temperatures, gray skies, bundling up, and snow, Spring comes. Something shifts when spring comes. The days become longer, and the weather becomes warmer. Not only does the weather change, but people and their moods change too. People could definitely be happier during this change of season, especially if they like warm weather and being outside. Spring is a mark of change for nature, too. Trees bloom, flowers start popping up, and the grass gets greener. As the saying goes, spring showers bring May flowers.
There is also a change in space, too; the days get longer, which means more light. Longer days can benefit everyone. Longer days bring more energy to everyone and more motivation. It is scientifically proven that when there are longer days, people get out of bed easier. This means that students can do better in school. They can wake up earlier and be more ready for the day. That can cause students’ grades to go up, and they can lock in to school for the final months of the year.
Freshman Briley Reinert prefers spring because it is not humid and there is still a cold breeze. She says that she likes warm weather with a breeze, so she likes spring better. She has better memories in the summer since everyone has free time, and her favorite part of each season is that they bring new things each year.
Sophomore Jacob Davis prefers spring more because of its weather. He has better memories in the summer than in the spring. His favorite part about each season is just living through them.
In conclusion, these two students in Hamburg mostly prefer spring and its weather, and they have better memories in summer because there is no school.
