Mrs. Alspach has been a teacher at HAHA for 18 years, but previously taught at Schuylkill Haven High School for three years and at Kids Peace for one year. She started teaching because she had an interest in helping students learn and make the best career choices for themselves.
Her favorite memory as a teacher was when she first started here she had a homeroom and none of her students had ever won a prize before or been recognized, and that year they won the door decorating contest, and she loved seeing how proud and happy they were since they finally won something. She loves when her students appreciate her help and want to succeed because that is what makes her job truly enjoyable.
A little bit about her, she loves hanging out with her friends in her free time. They enjoy riding side by sides together and just having a good time together. She really enjoys reading, her favorite book is Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.
She loves the summer. It is her favorite season because she enjoys the weather and being outside. Her favorite thing to do is go to the beach. Her favorite beach is Ocean City, Maryland and she loves spending her summer vacation with family and friends in her favorite place.
