Since the school year is already halfway over, many students have already had the chance to celebrate their birthdays. Some students have yearly parties, cake, family dinners, and get a couple of gifts. Everybody, overall, though, celebrates their birthdays differently.
Sophomore Rylee Strunk, whose birthday is in October, has the tradition of always having a cake. Last year, for her birthday, she had a party and a sleepover. Her 16th birthday was her favorite birthday as she had such a great time with friends and family.
Senior Bethany Stufflet, whose birthday is in June, also has a sleepover every year, but she also has a pool party and cookout with her family members. She also always has some form of cake, whether it is a birthday cake, cupcakes, or an ice cream cake, which her mom tends to shove in her face after she blows out the candles. Her favorite birthdays were also her 16th birthday and her 10th birthday. On her 10th birthday, she was surprised with a trip to Universal Studios Orlando.
Overall, most students tend to have a celebration in some form with friends or family, and they also eat some sweet dessert, mostly cake.
