The 60th Super Bowl will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home to the San Francisco 49ers. This will be the third time the Super Bowl will be held here, other times including in 2016 and 1985.
Bad Bunny will be headlining as the halftime performance and Charlie Puth will be singing the National Anthem at the start of the game. Bad Bunny appeared in 2020 during the halftime show, but now he has one all to himself. He will most likely have additional artist surprises during the show.
The contenders to win this year are different than in years past. Teams including the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are no longer able to win, with one team not making it to the playoffs and the other losing in the wild card round. This year will not be a repeat of years past now that these teams are no longer in.
The conference champions, the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, both had a week off and did not have to play in the wild card round. Time will tell if they will make it into the semifinals if they both can win their upcoming games. As for the other teams, it really is anyone’s game in making it to the Super Bowl. The two main potential teams in the NFC to make the Super are the Seahawks and Rams, however they are in the same division so only one will be able to make it. As for the AFC, the Broncos and Patriots are among the two likely teams to make it for the AFC, but only one will make it in since they are in the same division.
The San Francisco 49ers are another team still remaining and if they would make it to the Super Bowl, they would have home field advantage since the Super Bowl will be held at their stadium. Any team that is left is just as deserving as any. It will be very exciting to see who makes it to the Super Bowl LX.
