With the 16-day winter break coming to an end, students are looking back on how much they did over break. Many students spent time with their family and friends, gave and bought gifts, and did many different activities.
Bethany Stufflet, a senior, shared that she was sick over break, which really took the enjoyment out of her break. Due to that, she was not able to do much, but she was able to get to two Christmas parties, one being a family one and another being a white elephant with her friends. She got a new pair of light brown Uggs with bows and green New Balances. Along with that, she bought all of her friends shirts with funny sayings on them that matched their personalities. Her family also started, what she hopes to be a new tradition, making turkey sandwiches and eating snacks as a Christmas dinner. Even though she had a good break with the activities she did, due to her sickness, she wishes she had more breaks to make up for what she feels like she lost.
Another student, Rylee Strunk, enjoyed what she could during her break. Two big things that she did were go to Top Golf and have a gingerbread competition with her friends. Besides doing activities, though, she loved spending time with her family, especially on Christmas morning. The best present that she received over Christmas was Megan Moroney concert tickets. She also bought her parents a personalized cutting board. She feels that the break went fast and that she also wishes that she had more break.
Overall, many students seem like they, in some way, had a good break due to the activities that they did and the time that they spent with their loved ones. Another common denominator is that everyone wishes they had a little bit more of a break.
