School can become overwhelming for many people, and students may start to lose interest in completing work properly and on time. Sometimes students just need an extra boost to continue the work correctly and finish it with less stress. Motivation plays a big role when it comes to school work, athletics, and living every day. There are all sorts of motivations used around the world that help people.
A junior, Lydia Fultz, shares how high school is for her, but also how to handle too much anxiety. There have been a couple of things that have pushed her along the way to be as successful as she is. Fultz found a liking for running, which is what she does after school. “I have found that running really helps me relieve stress, which is why I joined track and cross country,” Fultz informs. Socially, she also tries to find some time to hang out with friends and family, so that school is not too overwhelming for her. That is always tough for people to try, but Fultz manages pretty well. She finally ends with her main motivational push. “Another thing that keeps me motivated is my drive to just always do the best that I can,” Fultz provided.
Daniel Barata, a senior, shares his opinion about what he does to help him stay focused during the school year. Barata is more towards his athletics when he always tries to stay motivated. He likes to plan out his evenings if he has a game and then has to do homework later, so he can manage his time efficiently. Like a lot of people in this world, Barata uses music to help motivate himself. As he states, “Music plays a key role in all things I do, and I work much better with music in my ears, and it gets me locked in before sports games.” There are all sorts of different tips that could help everybody out once in a while, to get work done.
