Driving is a necessary skill when it comes to day to day life, so it is important to know how to drive safely regardless of the weather conditions. But the winter season is the most dangerous of all due to increased chances of icy roads and snow. So here is a small guide to driving safely in snowy weather. First, keep in mind that during heavy snowfall never turn on the high beams, as all the light reflects back causing less visibility. Next, drive slowly and accelerate and brake carefully. This will ultimately help avoid skidding. Next, keep a further following distance between other vehicles. Everyone will be braking slowly, so keeping a larger distance accounts for that. Then, if possible, never stop on a large hill. The steeper the more dangerous stopping becomes, so if possible try to never stop on a large hill. Finally, try to have at least half a tank of gas left in the car. Hopefully, these tips will help new drivers or reeducate experienced drivers.
