Students Shine in this month’s spotlight

Students shine in this month’s spotlight as Hawk Happenings recognizes two exceptional individuals who have shown leadership, dedication, and impressive achievement throughout the semester. This month, we highlight Kaylee Fornwalt and Mia Reader, two hardworking students whose accomplishments continue to inspire those around them.
Kaylee has had a standout semester, earning all A’s and B’s while taking a major step toward her future by being accepted into nursing school. She shared that her biggest motivation comes from thinking about her long-term goals and the hard work she knows she must put in to succeed in college. Looking ahead, Kaylee’s next goal is “to graduate high school and move confidently into the next chapter of her education”.
Mia has also had an impressive start to the year, beginning the semester with all A’s and earning All Division honors for soccer. She explained that her future plans motivate her every day. Mia hopes to get into the college of her dreams, and she knows strong grades are just as important as her dedication to soccer. Her upcoming goals include “doing well on her Keystone makeups, maintaining straight A’s, and giving her best effort in club soccer as June 15 approaches”.
Both students show what hard work, determination, and passion can achieve. Their accomplishments not only reflect their individual strengths but also encourage others to set goals and strive for excellence in academics, athletics, and beyond.
