Do students prefer Christmas or Thanksgiving?

As the holiday season is starting up, a very particular question comes into play, which do students prefer, Christmas or Thanksgiving. Out of 91 students in the high school that participated in the survey, 77 students prefer Christmas while 13 prefer Thanksgiving. The reasons for Christmas lovers spread from the presents to seeing family they have not seen in a long while. Everyone who voted for Thanksgiving said about all of the food they got to eat.
A tenth grade student, Lillian Petrie says that she enjoys Christmas more because she gets to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
A majority of other students like getting to see Christmas lights with their family, or just like the total vibe. Other students including Bryce Schmeck like Thanksgiving because they enjoy getting to spend time with a wider variety of his family rather than just the people in his household. There are many different reasons why the student body enjoys one holiday over the other.
