Watching TV shows is something that everyone at Hamburg Area High School has in common. The love to watch TV to unwind and some of the shared TV shows and interests. It is something that people can bond over and make friendships by having the same favorite shows because they can bond over the love for those shows.
Freshman Lily Borkey said about her favorite show, she told me that her favorite show was Daisy Jones and The Six. She said, “It’s so well written and acted through. Plus, a real album was written for the show and it’s such a banger with no skips.” She told me while recounting why it was her favorite show. While Daisy Jones and the Six is widely considered a drama, freshman Kim Summers says that her favorite show is the sitcom The Big Bang Theory. When asked why, she simply told me, “It had a lot of seasons that I was able to watch and laugh at.” If there is one thing for certain, it is that media connects everyone even despite how different people can be.
