HAHS Students share their favorite candy
Tristin Fajna – 9
Every October Halloween comes around. That means candy and decorations in every store. One thing most people cannot compromise on is their favorite candy. Some people like chocolate, some people like fruity candy, and some people even like hard candy. Even if people and their friends like different preferences, one thing can be agreed upon, the taste is always enjoyable.
Freshman Ricky Favere’s favorite kind of candy is Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, because it is an awesome combination of chocolate and peanut butter. He says it depends on the mood but he prefers fruity, sour candy over chocolate. He likes the new unique flavors that they have better than old, classic flavors. His least favorite candy is Skittles because he would expect a chocolate taste but it has a fruity taste instead of chocolate.
Another freshman, Phalene Hoppes, enjoys Peanut Butter M&Ms, because she loves how well chocolate and peanut butter go together. Her favorite part is the crunch when she bites through it. She likes chocolate and fruit combos more than just either chocolate or fruit, her favorite combination is dark chocolate and blueberry. Her least favorite candy is Skittles.
Candy is not just for Halloween. It is always around, sometimes more popular than others, but it never goes away. No matter the flavor there’s something about candy to enjoy for everyone.
