As spring break approaches, students are looking forward to a mix of relaxation, adventure, and time with friends and family. While everyone has different plans, one thing is clear, everyone is ready for a break.
When asked if they were traveling, responses varied. Samantha Gartner, a sophomore, is open-minded with her plans for break, saying she’ll go “wherever the wind blows,” showing a spontaneous approach to the week. Ana Smith, another sophomore, on the other hand, is staying local and plans to enjoy her time at home. Brookelynn Foote, a junior, is heading west to California with her family, excited for a change of scenery.
During spring break, Sammy is most excited for spending time outside with friends, and possibly making new friends. Ana is looking forward to spending time with her family, enjoying good food, and welcoming the warmer weather. Brookelynn is excited to explore new places, relax, and make memories with her family.
When it comes to how they like to spend their break, all three students had slightly different preferences. Sammy prefers a busy schedule, saying she enjoys always having something to do. Ana and Brookelynn like a balance of busy and relaxing, they enjoy staying active but also value time to relax and recharge.
Finally, each student shared one thing they really want to do over break. Sammy hopes to buy a dirt bike, while Ana is excited to go shopping for colorful spring clothes. Brookelynn is especially looking forward to visiting the beach and soaking up the warm weather.
Overall, whether students are traveling far or staying close to home, spring break is a time to unwind, have fun, and take a break from the usual routine.
