The art show is an event hosted every February, with this year being no different. Many different displays of art are shown at this event, being shown from studently selected to have their art shown, from drawings to paintings to digital art, and even some displays of 3D art as well, the art was displayed with the help of The Hamburg Area Arts Alliance in their window spaces.
It has been a pleasure for both Mrs. Dommel and the art students, since Mrs. Dommel enjoys walking and/or driving by, and the art students enjoy having their work on display with the help of The Hamburg Area Arts Alliance for many years. Mrs. Dommel has enjoyed every year of the art show and said she has no favorite, and says that everybody is a shining star. Art is also displayed at GoggleWorks in the spring, which is a larger art showcase. Mrs. Dommel says that art is a high calling, and showing it is a great chance to display it with the community and the students
Freshman Cora Seidel said they felt happy and proud of the artwork that was able to be displayed at the art show and was mainly happy it was the snow leopard since it was her favorite painting. She made the painting in quarter 1 of Painting, and made it since she wanted to make a cat-related painting and thought the colors on the reference looked nice. The painting took at the lowest a week and at the most a month. Cora enjoyed said painting since it had a fun subject and animals are one of her favorite subjects, though the most annoying things were painting on the spots and making sure the fur color was right.
