The fourth annual car show hosted by the Sophomore class officers is fast approaching on May 17 from 9 am to 1 pm. This event is located in the student parking lot at the high school. Students and their families bring in a car of their choosing and show off the car to others that may be interested in these cars. These cars range from older vehicles like Chevys to more modern vehicles such as Toyotas. If a person does not have a vehicle to showcase, the event also allows people to bring in motorcycles, tractor trailers, and many more.
If a person is interested in showing off their vehicles, an online form will be ready for the person to fill out (made by Mr. Haegele). If a person comes to the event to show off their vehicle, they can fill out a form at the entrance and can still display their car during the event. If the person fills out the form, they will have to pay $15. Though on the day of the event, a person must pay $20 to show off their car. Spectators are free. Along with vehicles, a person may also find activities like yard games and even craft vendors. There is a count of 20-30 craft vendors during the event, as well as four food trucks. Live music will also be played during the event. The Sophomore Class officers are hoping to raise the same amount of money last year, being $3500-$4000.
