School lunch is part of almost every student’s day, and there are different options to choose from every day. There are many popular and unpopular meals.
When it comes to overrated school lunch meals, pizza comes up more than once. Both AnnaMarie Karasek and Riley Mohn, Seniors at Hamburg Area High School, believe that pizza is the most overrated meal despite it being a popular choice in the lunch lines each week.
Kameron Dreibelbis, another senior, feels that the spicy chicken patty is more overrated than the pizza. Though it shows up in the lunch lines many times and many students enjoy it, he feels that it shows up too many times, and he does not like eating it more than one time throughout the week.
When it comes to the most underrated lunch items, the opinions are all different. Kameron believes that the meatball sandwich is often overlooked. AnnaMarie enjoys the chicken pot pie a lot and thinks that it should be on the menu more often. Riley believes that the hamburger gravy bowl gets a lot of unnecessary slander, and it is actually a really enjoyable lunch menu option.
