Student Spotlight: Raine Diegel

Raine Diegel is a freshman at Hamburg Area High School who is currently involved in both GSA and the Hamburg Area High School choir, specifically, the alto section. Raine has been doing choir since seventh grade, and joined choir because her friend joined and she wanted someone to be with them in choir, which has inspired to stay involved in choir.
Outside of school, Raine enjoys drawing and animating as well as writing. She enjoys making frame-by-frame since she loves making sure every detail is finite and perfect. Raine’s been drawing for about five years, and animating for a year and a half.
Raine enjoys that the high school has longer periods and how much time is given during study hall, however she is not very fond of some of the people at Hamburg Area High School. Raine misses from previous school years some of the school teachers, how easy the work used to be, as well as not feeling stressed with school work all the time. Out of all the teachers in the high school, Raine’s current favorites are Mrs. Dommel, Mrs. Keck, and Mr. Lowe, but her favorite class is painting with Mrs. Dommel due to having the privilege of using the art table.
I have known Raine Diegel since around 5th or 6th grade, which is around four to five years. I think that Raine Diegel as a person is overall very enjoyable to be around, and is super open to sharing her interests to everyone. Raine is super energetic, and genuinely an amazing person to be around.
