Student Spotlight: Azaria Enoch

Azaria Enoch is a senior at Hamburg Area High School and is currently involved in the anime club. Azaria joined the anime club because most of her friends were doing it and she wanted to do something with all of her friends in her last year of high school.
Outside of school, Azaria enjoys playing games, mostly Pokemon related games like Legends Z-A and Pokemon Black, writing, and drawing. Azaria has been writing ever since she was in elementary school, and she started drawing when she was in middle school because she wanted to take part in an app called Amino.
After high school, Azaria doesn’t know what college to go to yet, but wants to go to college for professional writing. What Azaria enjoys about the school is how nice the teachers are and how they make students feel like they actually belong in the school. What Azaria does not enjoy about the high school however is the overall overbearingness of the school and how the feeling has gotten worse over the years. What Azaria misses about her previous years in the high school or school in general is her classes with Mrs. Palerino because she and Mrs. Palerino used to talk about books all the time. Some of Azaria’s favorite books are The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller and the Crave series by Tracy Wolff. Her favorite teachers are Mrs. Palerino, Mr. Brown and Mrs. Sinopoli. Azaria’s favorite class that she has taken in the high school is Mrs. Palerino’s Grade 11 English classes.
Freshman Rileyanne Fisher has known Azaria since the beginning of this school year, which is since around late August. Rileyanne thinks that Azaria is overall pretty nice and enjoyable to be around and also pretty energetic at times.
