Kaitlyn Gallagher is currently an outstanding junior at Hamburg Area High School. She is in many school activities like Student Council, Leo Club, Stage crew, and participated in bowling in 9th grade. Kaitlyn loves history and plans on becoming either a history teacher, animator, or journalist. Kaitlyn is the youngest of her family with two older brothers and an older sister. “Sometimes it feels annoying because they act like they’re better because they’re older but other than that it’s cool because I get more presents than them at Christmas.”
Kaitlyn currently has a job at her brother’s junk yard A-Z towing. She works very hard and is strict with her coworkers. Kaitlyn’s least favorite subject is math, but in her job she has to use math a ton.
Kaitlyn is very energetic and always brightens others day. She works hard to achieve good grades and brings a smile to others’ faces. She works diligently not only at her job, but also in the musical as she is the prop master of Mary Poppins. Kaitlyn made sure nothing was out of order and had to run around chasing props from stage right to stage left.
Kaitlyn has an old soul when it comes to music, as many in her family are older than she is. Her favorite band is Queen and her favorite song is Under Pressure by Queen. She loves fettuccine alfredo and her favorite color is pink!
Kaitlyn’s advice for other students is, “Make sure to do your work on time and always come into school with a positive attitude.”
