Freshman student Briley Reinert has a lot to say about her first year in high school. While she says the high school is better than the middle school, she is enjoying her freshman year and meeting the teachers across the building. While Briley is enjoying Woodshop and Publications, she is also dealing with the constant stress and the drama from peers. Briley is driving herself forward and overcoming challenges thrown at her. Even if she struggles in class, she quickly learns from her struggles and drives herself to new challenges every time.
While she is at home, her favorite activities to do include going wheeling with her dad, farming, and hunting with her family. While Briley is doing her favorite things at home, she is spending time with her parents and her three siblings.
Briley has overcome a big obstacle in her life. This obstacle, getting a job, was her biggest achievement through her freshman year. Working as a hostess at The Westy, Briley is hoping to learn about the work force and learn some new tricks for the future. While this job is still new, Briley is hoping to keep up with this job and grow it into an adventure. Along with this job, she is also focusing on Choir after school. Her main group is the Soprano group, the biggest and main group of the Choir.
Briley says that challenges are always gonna happen. Whether it would be now or later on, Briley says that students should overcome these challenges. Briley says, “Keep your head up. There’s gonna be good times and bad times, but you’ll get through it.” She hopes her fellow peers follow her lead and learn about the world and its many problems.
