Mia Henninger is a junior who recently started attending BCTC to be a chef. In August to study culinary, Mia says, “It has been the best experience.” Mia currently works at CJ Hummels. She is looking forward to having a job in the restaurant industry when she graduates. Mia goes to BCTC because she looks forward to cooking, and it will be a good experience and a start in the restaurant industry.
      Mia likes how they learn different things and how it is all hands-on work, such as cooking, cleaning dishes, and waitressing. Mia likes baking more than cooking because she enjoys decorating cakes and cupcakes. Everyone is like a family in BCTC who are willing to work with each other without problems. However some kids like to start drama constantly, which is what Mia most dislikes about BCTC.
    Mia has always liked cooking and baking. Her uncle is a chef and he is the reason why she always wanted to be a chef. Mia had the opportunity to do something that she always wanted to do so she took it.
    Mia Henninger has started to learn how to read recipes, food safety and learning how to practice her knife skills safely at BCTC. She also has been working on her waitressing skills during open house. During the open house, people come in and order food. It is Mia’s job to take the food to them and assist them at their tables if they need anything.
