On Saturday, February 4th for the second year, the HAHS cheerleaders went to Schuylkill Valley for the Panther Invitational. Coach, Nikki Valentino, got the squad prepared by having them run the routine at practice and at games up until the day before the competition.  The HAHS cheerleaders placed fifth place in the competition. The last 2 weeks before the competition Nikki had us run the routine as much as she could so she could make sure that the routine was good, that we were sharp, and that our stunts hit. In the high school division, there were 14 schools including Hamburg. Hamburg competed in varsity small along with five other high schools.

Peyton Snyder, sophomore, says that, “The comp could have gone better but we tried. I had fun and I hope everyone else did too. I just hope that we do better at our next one at State College High School.” In my opinion besides our stunts falling we did good.
