Serenade Dampmen is a 15 year old girl in her freshman year at HAHS. She has always been in the Hamburg school district by going to Tilden, HAMS, and now HAHS. Serenade dances at Culture Shock Performing Arts Center in Hamburg on South 3rd Street, she has been there since she was 8 years old. Along with Serenade doing dance she also does the musical, she has been in Elf.Serenade, she is one of my best friends; I have known Serenade since kindergarten. 

     Serenade is one of the best people I have ever met and I am happy I am able to call her my best friend. Serenade is always there for people when they need her and if they have a problem she always tries to help the best she can. She always puts her friends before herself because that is just the kind of person she is. If I could describe Serenade in 3 words they would be fearless, dependable, and considerate. For example someone could be having the worst day of their life and Serenade will sit and talk with them about it until they feel better, she has done it for me a bunch of times.

     Even when Serenade is upset she will not let someone know just so they do not get upset.
