On Friday November 4, 2022 at Hawk Hill the Hamburg Hawks faced off against the Upper Dauphin Trojan Horses in the 2022 District 3 AAA playoff game. Hamburg won 49 – 35.

     John Sharp is number 55 on the team who plays the positions of offensive tackle and nose guard. John is a freshman varsity player. Being part of the football team is one of the best things to happen in his life. His favorite thing about playing football is “everything.” It has also been a great opportunity for him to get to the playoffs as a freshman.

     Allie Houck, also a freshman, has had the chance to attend every football game. She enjoys getting to hang out with her friends and watch the sport at each game. Allie has tried her hardest to participate in every game’s theme. She thought that the playoff games were very exciting, and she believed they would win based off of their performances throughout the season.

     The Hamburg Hawks will advance to their next playoff game away at Wyomissing on Saturday November 12, 2022.
