The week of September 19-24 was a big week as the Hamburg Hawks celebrated homecoming.  At the football game on Friday, September 23rd, Isabella Denatala was crowned homecoming queen, and Connor Gruber was crowned homecoming king.   The others on court were:  Emma Christman, Anabel Kennedy, Mckenna Ecker, Sophia Harakel, Luke Bensigner, Kevin McFarland, Pierce Mason, and Xander Menapace.

Anabel is excited and happy to be elected. She is a good friend, teammate, and person in our school. She is friends with a lot of people and not just in her grade Anabel loves talking to new people.

Mckenna is a very funny person; her intelligence has gotten her very far in life. Mckenna plays field hockey she is very close with a ton of girls on the team and she loves them dearly. She always tries to be nice to everyone, especially the younger girls so they feel included and welcome.

Sophia is excited to be on court. She is a very social person and loves talking to new people. Sophia is open to talking to new people and loves making new friends.

Isabella is a part of sports in the fall and gets along with all her teammates. She can make new friends very easily and she can also make easy conversation when needed.

Kevin is grateful and humbled for this opportunity to be elected onto court. It is a dream of his to win snow king, homecoming king, and prom king.

There is a new event that the high school has not done since 2007. The homecoming dance was held Saturday the 24th from 7-10.
