When the holidays start approaching, everyone has different ways to celebrate. Some people wait until Thanksgiving is over to put up the Christmas decorations and some have the tree up as soon as Halloween ends. It all depends on the person. 9th grade student Maile Bentz likes to celebrate Christmas as soon as Halloween is over. She has already decorated her room with a tree and even some posters. On the other hand, Kamryn Witman prefers to wait until Thanksgiving is over and then puts up her tree.

They said, “It creates a neurological shift that can produce happiness.¨ Overall, it is definitely specific to the house how early they start celebrating Christmas and it is completely different for every family.
