The weekend of January 19, 2024, three students, Cadence Jalbert, Savannah Litschi, and Kameron Dreibelbis, from Hamburg Area High School went to Lebanon Valley College Honors Band. The students were supposed to have two days, January 19 and 20, for the experience, but because of weather it was shortened into only Janauary 20th. The students went to the college in the early morning on Saturday and performed the music later than night, having only one day to learn it all. 

     Cadence Jalbert was among the three students to attend LVC Honors Band as Mrs.Kline recommended her and the others to join the other 20 schools attending. She believed that it was a fun experience and a way to broaden her music skills as this was more difficult music for her Baritone Clarinet. Her favorite part of the experience was when the band had to smile for pictures before the performance. During the activity, Cadence made a good connection with the students from all the other schools. She was happy to get their perspectives on the music and to do something music-related away from home. Overall, she believed it was a great experience and if she was not a senior she would have loved to go again.
