Hawk Happenings online newspaper was launched on June 6 in 2018 after Mrs. McCarthy, Quinn Holl, Lexi Kline, and other Publications students visited Boyertown High School. In 2018, not many schools were using SNO Sites to make their online school newspaper, which is why Boyertown was the only one at that time to be the only one that was in Berks County that was using SNO Sites to publish their online news stories. At Boyertown High School, the staff showed the HAHS group on how to operate the website and post stories as well as change the format of how the website looks.
Right now, Bella Kenyel is thinking about changing how the website looks as well as adding in new categories for new stories to be put into. She also wants others in Publications to be Hawk Happenings Design Editors in the future since she is thinking about attending BCTC for the next three years.
