Anna DeAngelo is a Hamburg Area High School senior who has attended HASD since kindergarten. Anna was in the fall musical as the enchantress and has been a dancer for several years. Anna is a part of the Tri-M music honor society, choir, band, and aerial boundaries. She is also secretary of the Drama Club and orchestra president.

According to Anna, the thing that she most looked forward to for senior year was maturing and feeling proud of everything she has accomplished throughout her high school career. However, the least exciting thing about senior year is the high expectations and responsibilities that the teachers expect for the 12th graders. When asked what advice should be given to the younger classes Anna responded with this, “Don’t let drama get in the way of school. It is never worth your time or headspace.” In order to remain on top of things at school while still being a part of things, Anna balanced her activities through sectioning. She would do whatever homework was due first for that subject and then go down her previously made list. Anna’s most memorable moments from her high school experience would have to be her Tri-M induction, her role as the enchantress, and being given the opportunity to student choreograph.

Her future endeavors include spending the summer with her friends, going on trips to the beach, and working at Pizza Como in Hamburg to save money. Next year Anna will go to college at Millersville for business administration. She plans on owning a naturopathic store for those who want a more natural approach to getting better or receiving the medicine.
