Alyssa Brensinger is a junior at Hamburg Area High School, Alyssa Brensinger has been going to Hamburg Since Kindergarten. Living with her two brothers, mom and dad who also attended HAHS, she also has a dog named Diogee. Alyssa is known around the school for her academics. Alyssa is taking multiple AP and honors courses including APUSH with Mr. Kline, AP Lang with Mrs. Texter, Honors Geometry with

 Mrs. Geske, and Honors Chem with Mr. Laughlin. Although her favorite course this year has to be APUSH, she explains, “The topics are very interesting and I enjoy discussing them.” Alyssa says that her favorite topics were the founding of America or the topic at the beginning of the year with Columbus. She genuinely enjoys the class and the topic of history and plans to take AP gov next year. Shes known for being a good student by teachers and pushing through her work.

     Out of school Alyssa works at the local pizzeria Louees. She said she enjoys working there she exclaimed, “the hours are not bad and I genuinely enjoy the work environment.” Alyssa participates in jewelry club, she makes a lot of bracelets and earrings. After high school Alyssa plans to continue her education in college. Planning to study, “history or political science or criminology or something cool.” Alyssa wants to study these topics because she finds them easy and interesting and she would easily be motivated to learn them. In Alyssa’s free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and listening to music. Her favorite genre of music is rock, her favorite bands being Nirvana and Queen.
