As the new school year approaches, the weather gets colder, and the football games have started. Everyone is filled with excitement over themes and school spirit. Coaches and football players are ready to conquer the field. Coaches feel confidence, ambition, and bliss about this year’s football season. As I interviewed Coach Mr. McBreen says, “With the support of the school and community, I think this season could be one that continues to guide our program in the right direction”. Mr. McBreen said, “This football season we will be looking to expand on the successes that we’ve had in the past. We have quality veterans returning as leaders, as well as underclassmen who will be expected to perform at a level that is reflective of the Varsity level.”
Coming along with a new football season, comes brand new players from middle school. As Mr. McBreen said, the underclassmen are expected to perform as the varsity will. In conclusion the whole school is excited and prepared to support the Hawks football team as they earn “dubs” all year, Go Hamburg!
