HAHS students travel internationally

Riley Mohn – 9

Students of HAHS take trips during the school days and during holidays. Some trips may take a short time, and others may be as long as a month. These trips may be to another state, or to another country. Students are allowed to go on these trips with an approved educational absence during school days that they will miss. They are expected to complete any missed work either before or after their trip, and to make up any missed tests.

Out of six students, four of them did not go out of the country. The students that went on these trips mainly went to other US territories, but one went to Canada.

Another student, Kaeli Cox, went to Spain from the 4 to 15 of July, went snorkeling with sea turtles, as well as whale watching on the Catamaran. She will be visiting England sometime this summer as well.

Some students that have never travelled outside of the US, like Bethany Stufflet, want to go to other places. Bethany wants to travel to Greece, because it’s pretty. She also wants to go to Greece for the ability to experience other cultures.
