Dakota Schneider went on a day trip to Long Beach Island, New Jersey, with her mom. They go there all the time, it is their favorite place to hang out together. First, they went to the beach. Dakota loves the beach, but she gets bored pretty fast because her mom likes to walk really slow. Dakota would rather keep moving and jump around in the water. They both love looking for seashells, and they found a bunch of cool ones to take home.
After the beach, they went to Fantasy Island, a big arcade and fun park on the island. Dakota played a ton of games, maybe too many. It cost a lot of money, but Dakota said it was worth it. She won some prizes, ate some snacks, and had a great time being there. When they were done playing, Dakota and her mom went to their family’s secret favorite pizza place. It is a small local spot they always go to when they visit LBI. They got pizza, garlic knots, and cheesesteaks to take home. Dakota said that she will always go to the same beach even when she is older with her own family.
