The HAHS Student Council has been busy planning homecoming activities for the week of September twenty-ninth to October third.
Noelle Bowen is a freshman at Hamburg Area High School and is participating in the Student Council. Noelle was also in the Student Council all three years that she was in middle school. Noelle says that everybody in student council makes an effort to plan the themes of each day, not one person or one small group of people do it. They work as a group to make sure it pleases all the people. At the end of the week is Fall Fest. Fall Fest is an event with a lot of different stands and activities and the freshman class will have a “Make Your Own Apple Bowl” that will have many different kinds of toppings. This will take place on Friday October third at 12:45 in the stadium.
Mr. Gaul is a Student Council Advisor, with this being his third year doing it in our high school. Mr. Gaul’s favorite part about planning this week is watching the student council kids take over the festivities and make it their own. He is very excited for Fall Fest because it is the opportunity to showcase extracurricular activities, clubs, and have fun. He thinks that there is going to be very high participation because there are new activities this year that will be very enjoyed.
