Lydia Fultz is a junior at Hamburg Area High School, and she is also the class president. She ran for this position two years ago because she really loves the community and helping out where she can. The junior class is in charge of planning prom and homecoming, and with those events coming up, she is nervous. “At times it becomes overwhelming, but I just remind myself of the outcome,” Fultz said.
She also takes higher education classes and has to balance out the workload from her education and her duties as class president. “I do not have a lot of free time, and I have to make to-do lists for myself in order to stay organized. Even though I keep myself busy a lot,” she said. The times that Lydia does have time to herself, she likes to spend time with her family. “We play games, watch shows, and paint,” she said.
Overall, she enjoys what she does and “Would not want to change it for anything!” Lydia Fultz said.
