Celeste Mummolo is a sophomore and Morgan Warnick is a freshman at HAHS. They shared their thoughts on autumn being here.
Morgan says that out of all four seasons, she would put autumn in second because of her love for Halloween in October. Summer would be her first favorite, because of the warmth and in autumn it starts to get cooler. However, her favorite part of autumn is the Friday night football games. The football games mean so much to her because she is a part of the Hamburg Area High School cheer squad. She truly enjoys the Friday night lights and all the joy and laughter that comes from them. She states that she loves autumn because she loves the “pretty leaves that fall.” In the autumn she spends her time going to pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and enjoys the outdoors by going on walks.
Celeste explains that autumn is very important to her because it is the season she and her family spend the most time together. During autumn, Celeste and her family go to a pumpkin patch to get pumpkins to carve together. She talks about how autumn is something that she looks forward to every year. Celeste says “Autumn is a special season to me because it’s the season where my family and I have the most family time.” In all, she could say autumn is a season that she really enjoys.
