As the seasons continue to shift, so do new traditions in the NFL. Recently many teams have begun to play in different countries around the world, bringing team spirit wherever they go. On September 28 the Pittsburgh Steelers played in Dublin, Ireland against the Minnesota Vikings and spread their fandom all the way to Europe. They also brought home the very special win.
Students at our high school have strong opinions on whether or not they like the NFL playing in different countries, some saying it is great because we are bringing our culture to another part of the world. Others do not agree as much, saying that it should stay in America and not travel outside of it. Many people want to see their teams play someone cool or special. People responded with the Eagles, the Buffalo Bills, Patriots, and the 49ers.
Even though many people do not share the same opinion on the NFL games leaving the country, it is a very good experience for players to travel and learn new things as they are playing in an all new environment where they can grow and learn things personally and with their team. As the season keeps on, we hope to see more new things sprouting inside the NFL and how it will progress into future seasons.
