Every year new freshmen come to the HS and their thoughts on it are always different. Most freshmen like high school but some are not favorites of it. High school has more freedom than middle school. Plus classes are pickable. The school has more distance to walk too. But for some that could be a bad thing. Being in a new school can always be difficult at first for some. But, once getting used to it then high school can be a cool place.
One freshman, Connor Lenich, shared his thoughts on high school so far. He thinks that high school is good and finding his classes has been mostly easy for him, he thinks high school is better than middle school. His favorite class so far is math, he likes having Mrs. Heckman as a teacher because she teaches well and explains things great.
Freshman, Caleb Jackson (was interviewed on) his experience in high school so far. He enjoys the freedom of picking his own classes and enjoys the school spirit and sports compared to his middle school years. “It is absolutely better than middle school.” His favorite class so far has been honors biology with Mrs. Buchiet. That is his favorite class because he enjoys Mrs. Bucheit as a teacher and all his friends are in that class with him.
